Educational Qualification

  • Navik (General Duty): Class 12th passed with Maths and Physics from education board recognised by COBSE.
  • Navik (Domestic Branch): Class 10th passed from education board recognised by COBSE.
  • Hygienist-I: Matriculation OR ITI or equivalent from Board recognised by Central/State Government.
  • Yantrik: Class 10th + Diploma (3/4 years) in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering approved by AICTE OR Class 10th + 12th + Diploma (2/3 years) approved by AICTE.

Application Fee

  • UR / OBC-NCL / EWS etc: Rs 550/-
  • SC / ST: Nil

Selection Process

  1. Stage-I: Computer Based Examination (CBE) – 100 questions, 100 marks, 1 hour. No negative marking. Qualifying marks: 40 (UR/EWS/OBC) & 35 (SC/ST).
  2. Stage-II: Recruitment at ICG Centres – Identity check, Physical Fitness Test (PFT – 1.6 km run, squats, push-ups, sit-ups), Assessment & Adaptability Test, Document Verification.
  3. Stage-III: Training Base at INS Chilka – Document verification & Pre-Enrolment Medical Examination.
  4. Stage-IV: Final Document Verification & Authentication.
